'Giant' African Bullfrog - can't really call him a Giant yet as he's still just a baby but with a health apetite it shouldn't take him too long!  Not ideal for handling at such a young age as they are so jumpy but with time should become extremely tame.

Emperor Scorpion named Abigail by Megan at her party in Bedworth, Warwickshire.  Emperor Scorpions are also known as Imperial Scorpions and are native to Africa.

Pink Toed Tarantula – one we view in a container!  Tarantulas flick hairs as a form of defence which have barbs and are designed to irritate.

Lily the Leaf Insect was named by Amber at her 3rd bithday party in Burbage, Leicestershire.

Millie the African Giant Millipede was named by 7 year old Millie at her party in Narborough, Leics.  Feel their feet tickle your hands and for anyone a bit less brave sit down and let one have a walk up your trouser leg.

Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches – You’ll probably need 2 hands to keep hold of these lively little creatures.

Giant African Land Snail – hold it by the shell unless you don’t mind getting slimed!

Hermit Crabs - the small one out saying hello is 'Snappy' who was named by Fern at her 6th birthday party in Loughborough, Leics.  The one with the large white shell was named 'Jeff Hardy' by Joshua who also had a 6th birthday party in Coventry (Jeff Hardy's a WWE wrestler for those of you who didn't know)!
